Masquerade - the performance group started their theatrical existence in 1994 with their production of the famous Greek classic ELECTRA. It has since then staged more than a dozen different adaptations from Greek, German and Austrian classics and English originals, with creditable performances at various theatre and outdoor venues in Chennai and Tamilnadu.  This has been possible because of the group's dogged commitment to exactitude, sincerity, punctuality and above all discipline an drigorous training methods.

Krishna Kumar. S, the young director has already created a niche for himself and the group in the theatre world of Chennai. With people like Deepak Bansal (the group's choreographer and one of the founder members), Mithran Devanesen and cooperation from city's leading artists such as Na. Muthuswamy (Koothu-p-pattarai), Kalai Rani and Pasupathy at various stages of several productions, their performances have reached great heights and have been well appreciate by the theatre goers of Chennai.
